End-to-end ERP for a textile manufacturer

A home textile manufacturer in Denizli with three plants and 450 employees, exporting half of its output.

Challenge

Each plant kept its own stock spreadsheet, and the production plan was put together by hand in weekly meetings. Order status was checked by phone, and costs could only be calculated after the month had closed. Month-end close took nine working days on average.

Solution

During analysis we held more than 40 interviews with the production, purchasing, warehouse and finance teams. We rolled out the ERP's production, warehouse and finance modules and set up bills of materials and routings in the system. We placed handheld terminals on the factory floor, so every movement from yarn receipt to shipment is scanned. Export invoices and customs documents were added to the flow for foreign trade.
